SSPA RFW50022

Fanamoj offers its SSPA as a key device in satellite application. By providing improved linearity, enhanced reliability and reduced size and weight, as well as meeting outdoor requirements. Fanamoj SSPA is a suitable candidate for your satellite uplink and SNG/DSNG applications.

Fanamoj Ku-band Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) is designed utilizing GaAs MESFET transistors, which result in multiple enhancements compared to the traditional high power amplifiers such as TWT. Some advantages include lower intermodulation distortion, longer lifetime, easier maintenance and lower cost (particularly when higher frequency bandwidth is required).

Fanamoj SSPA provides 100 watt power at 14~14.5GHz for satellite communication. IT offers high linearity, low power consumption, excellent thermal efficiency, wide gain adjustment range and internal protection against high temperature and SWR. All these features make Fanamoj SSPA suitable in satellite market.

A user-friendly portable controller is also provided for control and adjustment. The operator can also log and monitor the SSPA's status including fault history. An additional RS 485 serial port can be used for remote controlling computer.

Applications

Satellite Uplink Solution
Fanamoj SSPA can be used in any satellite uplink solution. An L-band block up converter can be utilized before the SSPA to permit operation from L-band devices.

Satellite News Gathering (SNG)
The SSPA can be combined with other Fanamoj products like the DVB-S/S2 modulator to be used SNG vehicles.

Redundant system Redundancy switching system can provide automatic changeover to a second SSPA.
