Remux
D1302 MPEG RE-Multiplexer
The Fanamoj D-1302 Transport Multiplexer is new generation modular solution for
MPEG-2/4 service multiplexing and SFN adaptation, particularly suited for
DVB/MPEG transport distribution architectures. The
Remux provides standard output transport interface
DVB-ASI for interoperability across a variety of applications. With its
DVB-ASI input and output interfaces, the
Remux can be easily incorporated in any existing head end environment and support any digital turnaround architecture. The
Remux’s robust, extensible and highly scalable design supports
MPEG re-multiplexing functionality, including PID remapping and filtering, insertion of PSI/SI tables, PID multicast, service redundancy. This configuration not only reduces rack space and power requirements, but also simplifies network infrastructure while delivering a high-availability solution.
